Social networking is important for a teacher to be aware of because once they begin teaching some of things they might have thought were appropriate in high school to put on their Facebook are not when they are a professional. When you have a Facebook and you are looking for others out their the searching tools are really easy to use. I love having my Facebook page because so many of my friends go to other schools.
